RF Isolation’s Test Rack is not just a large enclosure; it is a high-performance RF shielding system purpose-built for production environments where speed, throughput, and repeatable isolation matter every single shift.
| Feature | What It Means for Your Production Line |
|---|---|
| ≥125 dB Isolation at 1 GHz | Delivers the same isolation performance as our bench-top units but at rack scale. Your production line gets ≥125 dB at 1 GHz, ≥120 dB at 3 GHz, and ≥90 dB at 6 GHz across a 1475 mm wide test cavity. |
| Large-Format Internal Cavity (1475 × 560 × 840 mm) | A 1475 mm internal width accommodates multiple devices simultaneously testing Wi-Fi routers, 5G CPE units, IoT gateways, or large antenna arrays side by side in a single enclosure, dramatically increasing throughput per shift. |
| Multiple Integrated Test Points | Purpose-built with multiple RF and signal test access points so your instruments and DUT connect without breaking the shielded environment, no signal leakage, no setup compromise, no delays between tests. |
| Rugged Welded Aluminium Construction | Heavy-duty CNC-bent and laser-welded aluminium frame built for industrial environments handles the rigour of daily production use, shift after shift, without structural degradation or door seal failure. |
| Copper Beryllium RF Door Contacts | The same copper beryllium finger contact technology used in our bench-top units proven for tens of thousands of open/close cycles without measurable degradation in shielding performance. Critical for high-cycle production use. |
| 100 kHz to 6 GHz Frequency Coverage | One rack covers every wireless protocol in your production line for tests from legacy 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth to 5G Sub-6 GHz, RFID, NFC, and Zigbee. No need to switch enclosures for different device SKUs. |
| Fully Customizable Configuration | Custom internal layouts, additional SMA and I/O ports, motorized or manual door options, integrated cable management, and trolley-mounting configured to match your existing production line setup. |
| Meets Military-Grade Shielding Standards | Designed and verified to international RF shielding standards suitable for defense electronics manufacturing and aerospace testing where consistent attenuation is a compliance requirement, not just a preference. |

Trusted Across India's Most Demanding Testing Environments
An RF Test Rack is a large-format, rack-housed RF shielded enclosure designed for high-throughput wireless device testing in production-line and large-scale R&D environments. Unlike compact bench-top shield boxes designed for single-device testing, an RF Test Rack accommodates multiple devices under test (DUTs) simultaneously making it the right solution when testing volume, speed, and scalability matter as much as isolation performance.
Built from rugged welded aluminum and fitted with multi-layer RF absorbers, the RF Test Rack creates a controlled electromagnetic environment across 100 kHz to 6 GHz, isolating every DUT from ambient RF interference and from each other. The result is clean, accurate, repeatable test data across every device your line processes.
RF Isolation’s RF Test Racks are engineered and manufactured at our ISO 9001:2015 certified facility in Ahmedabad, India. Each rack is custom-built to your internal layout requirements, door configuration, and port panel specification then tested and certified before dispatching.
All dimensions are in mm. Isolation values are minimum guaranteed figures, verified by in-house measurement before dispatching. Custom configurations are available on request.

With 13 models available, choosing the right enclosure depends on three things: your device size, the frequency you need to test at, and how the box will be used. Use the guide below to find your match – or contact our team for a free expert recommendation.
Telecom device manufacturers integrate 5G or 4G modules into CPE. Routers and gateways use RF Test Racks to validate RF performance across the production line by testing multiple units per hour in a fully shielded environment. The large internal cavity of the RI D 15261 allows simultaneous testing of multiple production units without sacrificing the isolation each device requires for accurate measurement.
Wi-Fi 6 and 6E devices often have multiple antennas requiring simultaneous signal access at multiple frequencies up to 6 GHz. The RF Test Rack's large internal dimensions and configurable port panels make it the only practical enclosure for testing these complex antenna systems at production scale where a bench-top box would require testing one unit at a time.
IoT manufacturers with high-volume production run smart meters, connected appliances, industrial sensors, and smart home hubs use RF Test Racks for end-of-line QA. Each unit passes through the rack for a standardized RF performance check before being cleared for packaging. The rack's consistent shielding ensures every device is tested to the same specification, regardless of ambient RF conditions on the factory floor.
Defence electronics contractors use RF Test Racks as part of the manufacturing acceptance testing process for wireless systems that must meet strict isolation standards. Our racks built to military-grade shielding performance specifications and supplied with full test documentation meet the traceability and performance requirements of these environments.
Vehicle-to-everything (V2X), telematics, and connected car module manufacturers require large RF shielded enclosures to accommodate the physical size of automotive wireless hardware. The RI D 15261's 1475 mm internal width is well suited to testing automotive antenna systems and large-format module assemblies that cannot fit in standard bench-top enclosures.
Research institutions conducting large-scale RF testing projects 6G prototype evaluation, spectrum research, EMC studies use RF Test Racks when the scale of the DUT or the need for multi-device simultaneous measurement exceeds the capacity of bench-top units.
An RF Test Rack is built for production lines — it fits multiple devices at once and runs continuously. A Standalone Shield Box is for single-device testing on a lab bench. Need volume? Rack. Need one device at a time? Box.
Depends on your device size. The RI D 15261's 1475 mm internal width fits several standard-sized devices side by side. Share your device dimensions and we will confirm the exact count for your setup.
Yes. We support motorized door mechanisms, automated locking, and trigger I/O for ATS integration. Share your control interface specs and our team will handle the rest.
The RI D 15261 delivers ≥90 dB at 6 GHz — covering all 5G Sub-6 GHz bands including n77, n78, and n79. Need higher isolation? Contact us for a custom configuration.
